| - Update: received lovely call from Dr. They've taken multiple steps to fix several issues from identification and marking of cage cards to communication. Great steps to improve!
This review is more about management and then it is about my cats treatment. I took my cat in for three days of boarding. I brought my cat food and toys it was all contained in a plastic bag which I tied in a square knot, left-hand high... I'm peculiar like that. Three days later I picked her up, received the bag and I was told that she didn't eat very much. Now my cat is very, opinionated, stubborn shall we say. So hearing that she was uppity was not surprising. Then I get home. My bag was still tied with the square knot left-hand high. I open the bag her hard food still full, treats still full, two cans of wet food unopened. So, on the next business day I call in to tell them all this, she takes dutiful notes. And apologizes. I had weighed my cat and she lost about 6-7% weight in 3 days... not good but she did come home and ate like she's never been fed and she's getting back to normal weight. It appears that even though the clinic allegedly noted that I brought food for her, they gave her only clinic food.
The complaint is... not one person from management or Doctor called to apologize. When a patient is treated this bad for three days new patient or old, there better be more than a secretary apologizing (hats off to her but she is not the responsible party here). No amends, just take my money. All about cats? All about Benjamin's?
