  • Golden steer is an iconic Vegas steakhouse. We have been wanting to try it since we had moved here..so what better time than for my fiances 45th birthday! He is a huge fan of Frank Sinatra. So of course I requested the sinatra booth. You would not think that the inside would be what it was from the outside. It is in a strip mall, next to a deli and a local bar. But if you can look past that and wait til you walk in the door of Golden Steer you will go back in time. The ambiance is old school vegas, a great bar, piano and sitting area are there when you 1st enter. They sat us almost immediately. Frank Sinatras plaque is on the wall! Which was so special for my fiance, thinking he was sitting right where Sinatra had sat for so many years. We had another couple with us to enjoy this experience. We both ordered the chateaubriand for 2 and the table side Cesar salad. The presentation was the best I have ever seen. The chateaubriand came out whole on a platter, 2 huge heads of cooked broccoli and carrots. The waiter carved the meat and plated it along with the vegetables. It was cooked to perfection. It was served with hollandaise and bearnaise sauce. It was not only the best meal we have had in Vegas but the entire experience was truly special. We will be back! Thank you for making his 45th one that can never be forgotten!
