Today, I tried to make an exchange without a receipt and was told by one manager that I could. Upon returning to the register with my exchange plus additional items I was told by the new operations manager that I could not make the exchange. Apparently she has the flexibility to make the exception, but refused to do so, and since the other manager was from another store, her promise to allow the exchange was void. As I voiced my complaint, I was told to leave the store because she didn't like the fact I was talking about her lack of customer service in comparison to the previous manager. My husband was with me and neither of us yelled, swore or did anything to warrant her response. I've been an Ulta Club member for 6 years! Where did customer service go? I will only shop Sephora from now on.
