  • I'd heard so many good things about Gen, I knew I had to visit. I recently had dinner there and was definitely impressed! First of all, it's located at Galleria Mall, but you don't have to actually enter the mall to get to the restaurant, which is a plus (IMO). There is also tons of parking, which is another bonus. The decor is super cute. It's dimly lit, but not overly romantic (unless you want it to be). It's not a small place either. For $19.95 per person, it's hard to complain. It's AYCE and the food was all delicious. We seriously had a bit of everything. Be careful when ordering though, they will charge you extra for wasted food. I can imagine that would be pretty awkward. My only complaint is that the service was slooooow. It took forever to get more water and even longer to get our check and pay. But it was nothing that would stop me from going back and I definitely look forward to eating at Gen again.
