One of the reasons I chose to buy a home where I did is that it wasn't in APS territory. APS is reliable but expensive. I've been in my SRP-serviced home for 12 years and have been satisfied with it. Other than mysterious minutes-long service interruptions on weekend mornings in the summer, it's been reliable with few power outages that last more than a couple of hours. And it's far less expensive than APS. I also like that they put auto-messages on their phone lines if you call to report an outage so you know that they are aware of the situation. And since I use SurePay I get something like a 1% discount on my bill. Hey, everything helps!
