located a block East of Spadina and Dundas intersection
i was pleasantly surprised when stepping inside. sleek decor in this narrow space.
there's a good selection of drinks, snacks, desserts and meal combos, they offer a membership (good for 3yrs) for $20 entitles you to drink upgrades.
i ordered the crispy chicken (aka popcorn) - which wasn't too greasy, (the basket lined with wax paper didn't soak through)
and a milk tea with mini rose buds - apparently rose buds are good for your skin, a good pairing to counter the effects of the fried chicken :O . the drink was kind of watery though.. i prefer a more fuller bodied tea.
what's different - the eastern hot dessert soup selections. i'll try another time.
service - was good. food and drinks didn't take long to arrive and the waitress was available whenever we needed. it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night
MODO's makes a good addition to the bubble tea shops downtown.
