Hiking this trial during Presidents Day weekend was nice because the weather was great and not to mention it was free! The trail starts off with gravel and then makes its way to bigger rocks. Although this is a "moderate" hike, I wouldn't recommend it for very small children that can't withstand walking for a few hours. Not to mention, there is some climbing involved and very scary moments. Once you reach the "water fall" I climbed some steep rocks and found a pond of water!
My only complaint would have to be that it isn't really marked off. When I went there were volunteers gathering large rocks to help make one trail, but other than that it was a bit confusing if you don't remember your surroundings.
I would recommend packing a bag of water and snacks because I noticed that some people had nothing on them. Remember people: you need to replenish your body with nutrients while hiking so that you don't wear yourself out.
