| - I would like to leave a review for "Berge Ford" one of Arizona's most UNETHICAL car dealerships. My brother recently purchased a new truck from this establishment and what a nightmare. First off, they let him test drive a truck with all the bells and whistles (Spray in bed liner, tow/strap hooks, etc), under the impression that this is the vehicle he is interested in purchasing, he begins to work the numbers, when both parties were happy (my brother and the dealership) the deal was made. Upon getting the keys, my brother walks out and notices that the truck he drove was NOT the truck they gave him, the truck they gave him had NO spray in bed liner, no tow/strap hooks, etc. Consumer fraud at its finest, selling a vehicle under false pretenses. This is just the start of a sour deal. My brother late at night takes delivery of the truck with the understanding that the dealership will "make it right" and when he comes back in the morning they would give him a due bill to apply all the accessories that truck he originally had. (They never did). Meanwhile when the deal was originally made, the credit union the dealership uses could not give an interest rate at the time for financing, so the sales manager CRAIG G., guestimated what he thought my brother would qualify and put that interest rate, NOT TELLING MY BROTHER THAT HE GUESSED WHAT HE WOULD QULIFY FOR, Craig wrote up the contract using his guess of an interest rate. Well, the next week, that's right a week, they call my brother back and as to resign a contract with a higher interest rate because he could not qualify for the one the sales manager thought he could, the new interest rate was 1.5% higher than initially agreed upon, nowhere in this conversation did the Sales Manager Craig explain that the rate could change. While understand that this DOES happen in the car industry and they don't make up the interest rates for the bank, the sales manager should have clearly explained the situation BEFORE SINGING A CONTRACT UNDER FALSE PRETENSES AND BEFORE LETTING A CUSTOMER TAKE DELIVERY OF A VEHICEL. In my eyes and the eyes of my family this is totally unethical, the dealership should have made this right and either offer to take back the vehicle or buy back the rate from the bank and discount the vehicle. After hours of going back and forth and making a scene they eventually discounted the new vehicle to compensate for the higher interest rate and gave him the accessories he was rightfully entitled to under false pretenses. Overall I rate this dealership a one star, if I could go lower I would, BE WARNED, the average Joe would have been taken advantage of, stay away from Berge Ford and its unethical employees. This is truly Arizona's most un-trust worthy, unethical dealership in the entire state.
