First timer here at Fogo de Chao, however I went to a similar Brazilian steakhouse with the same concepts. My cousin, best friend and I came for my birthday. We had drinks beforehand and that kind of filled my stomach. Note to self: don't drink again before Fogo de Chao.
I was happy the reservations weren't filled up because Valentine's Day was the day after. I was even able to easily change our reservations for 30 mins after our original time since we were running behind from drinks.
It was my friends first time as well with no Brazilian steakhouse experience. We were both excited to see what's up with the hype. When arrived we were quickly seated and introduced to the restaurant
The salad bar has plenty of hors d'oeuvre selections ranging from mozzarella balls, crispy bacon pieces, asparagus, you name it.
THE MEATS:
That's what this place is really all about. It's honestly like an all you can eat meat buffet! They have all different types of meats and they just keep comin around with meat skewers. They have a card (red side and green side) you flip the card to green side if you haven't had enough and want more and flip it to red if you need a break pretty much
My favorites were the filet mignon and ribeye. FIRE!
P.S. are you given a free birthday dessert. I chose the strawberry creme which is actually just cream that is strawberry flavored. It's like slightly melted strawberry ice cream in a cup. I would probably just stick to getting the creme brûlée or a cheesecake had I known. FYI
