  • I've read a lot of reviews, and created a lot of fears for myself. Fears like sharp zinging pain, high prices, and lukewarm results. I'm happy to say my experience included none of the above, and was so pleasant, in fact, that I went back for a second treatment today. The suite is upstairs and easy to miss, but very welcoming once inside. They send you a courtesy text the day before with detailed directions not even I could mess up. On my first treatment, they went over what to expect, and discussed the differences between a standard and extra strength treatment. Meredith was very open about the differences in whitening as well as the increased likelihood of sensitivity. The whitening: After hearing about the two options, I opted for the extra strength, which is a 40 minute session with about a 30% lighter result. Meredith led me to a very clean room with pleasant ambient music, and had me pick a chair. She put a mouth guard in to keep my teeth exposed, applied protectant coating to my lips, and put a peroxide based whitening gel on my teeth. She gave me a pair of protective glasses, made sure I was comfortable, and placed a blue UV light in front of my teeth to activate the gel. At about 20 minutes in, I did experience a momentary sharp pain in my gums as many people describe, but once I moved the light away, it disappeared within seconds. I then continued the treatment and had no further issue. She checked in frequently, and re-applied the protectant gel a few times to ensure there was zero burning. I would say she was extremely attentive and highly prioritized client comfort. After the treatment was complete, I rinsed out the gel and to maximize my result, scheduled a follow-up for the following week. After I got home, I noticed a difference of about 4-5 shades, which I found truly impressive. I would never have been able to get that from strips alone, and would have spent far more time and money trying. I can easily say one treatment would be sufficient for most. This afternoon I went to my second and I noticed a less dramatic difference than the first, probably about 2 shades total. But I had no pain at all, and my teeth had already lightened so much, I didn't need a huge gain to get a great result. I may or may not do a third. If I do, I think my shade would probably be absolutely perfect (for me anyway, I'm not a total narcissist). I'd definitely recommend White Teeth AZ to anyone. They truly exceeded my expectations in every way.
