  • My favorite weekend activity! Lovely place to walk around in the morning and pick up some herb plants, baked goods and honey! At least, that's what I do :) Like the other reviewers will say, go early. As in, before 9am preferably. After that, the street gets packed full of people and little kids running around everywhere. Even so, being in the busy crowd isnt too bad because you also get to slow down and look at things as well. Get your honey from Marsdens honey! You can't miss him, he's in a giant beehive hat. Very friendly guy, always willing to advise new customers on the types of honey he has, and not to mention, the honey is indeed good! Lots of cheese samples, flower stands, and freshly baked goods. Be prepared, most places are cash only!! There's a couple of banks around the square, though they may not be surcharge free.
