  • DISHONEST!!! NOT CHEAP!!! NOT WORTH IT!!! Should've known it was too good to be true...Why-oh-why didn't I check Yelp before I hired them!?!?!? I was quoted a really great price - especially considering I had a baby grand piano to move. I even reminded the guy who gave me the quote about the piano because I thought the price was so low. He was VERY sweet and nice and SUPER helpful. An excellent salesman. I truly thought I was in good hands. I was mistaken. Was supposed to get a pre-call 30 mintues in advance so I could meet them at the house, instead, I got a call asking where I was because they were there. My price quote was also for three men, but they only sent two. I called my sales rep to discuss and he cut the rate down because of the two men, however informing me that anything over the original three hour quote would be charged in 10 minute increments. When I informed him of my unease that two men could do what three men could do, he said it would be fine. I didn't have that much furniture. They also did not have preparations to move the piano. They said they were told it was a "baby piano" and therefore did not bring anything to move it. Really? A Baby Piano? When I called to discuss THIS with the rep, and the fact that I now had to pay extra to have someone move the piano, he said that he was sorry. That was it, and quite frankly, he didn't sound all that sorry. At the end of it all, two guys shockingly could not move everything in three hours. Especially since they had to "save their backs" and use the truck's slow moving lifter for every single piece of furniture - even using it for a floor lamp. (Watching a dude on a lifter, standing next to a floor lamp while it slowly moves up level with the back of the truck...while and you're counting the time is maddening, btw.) They were, needless to say, not in any great hurry. When all was said and done, they tacked on an extra hour and a half. When I called to inform the Sales rep that there was a time dispute, he was no longer friendly and sweet and not the least bit helpful. In fact, he was downright rude...now changing his story and saying that moving all my stuff in 4 & 1/2 hours was great time for two guys. Basically telling me to quit my complaining. He was so rude, that I feel like all of these tactics were planned. Not calling ahead, and charging us for "sitting time" - only sending two men so it would take longer, and not including the "equipment" for the piano so they didn't have to move it. Then to top it off, they movers refused to give me a receipt for a cash payment (we took a picture of the paperwork), stating they would email me something. I still have yet to receive an email. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are dishonest, untrustworthy and incompetent. Spend a little more money and save yourself!! Yeah - That about sums it up...
