| - I think you really have to know what you're getting yourself into if you're coming to Keegan's. if you're looking for a fancy steak dinner or some badass lobster, this probably shouldn't be your first stop. However, if you're looking for some tasty, traditional American fare, Keegan's is bomb.com!
There's one reason and one reason only that my husband and I decided to come to Keegan's in the first place: potato skins. While pregnant, I've been craving loaded potatoes and potato skins like nobody's business, so one night we did a quick Yelp search for skins, and Keegan's was the first place that popped up.
Let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint. They were exactly what you'd hope a potato skin would be: crispy skin on the outside, extra cheesy, loaded with bacon. So simple, yet so complex. Not to mention, an order of them comes with at least 16 skins! It's a lot of food (obviously I eat the entire thing by myself).
On top of their skins, we've tried the mac and cheese, chorizo queso, and french onion soup. All of them have been excellent every single time we've come. It's definitely not the fanciest of meals, but sometimes all you really want is a little bit of grease and some good ol' fashioned bar food, and Keegan's fits the bill every time.
