We, like several other patrons, went here while we waited for a table at Soul one Friday night. It has a modern feel with sleek black couches and light color flooring and bar. They cycle through art displays from local artists which is really cool. The four horsemen of the apocalypse that was on display during the last visit was disconcerting. A rodent eating an eye while staring at me didn't really set the Friday night or wine bar vibe for me.
The wine I had was delicious and a hearty pour. There was plenty of craft beer on tap. Getting a drink, however, was a very slow process. There was only one bartender working on a busy night and though there was at least one other worker but no one helped her. There was also limited seating and I saw people bring folding chairs out to sit on, which detracted from the trendy edgy bar look.
The atmosphere was a little creepy and the wait to get a drink was exasperating. If I pass by and the bar is empty and the art is different I might pop back in but see no draw or differentiation to choose this bar over the rest in the area.
