  • We were invited to Energy Shack's opening yesterday. It was great to meet Carolyn, the owner. She was so excited about her new venture, we couldn't help but got rubbed by her enthusiasm for eating healthy. She being a dietician, is very passionate about health and wellness and wants to share her gift with the world. It wasn't just any juice bar. They had mostly fair-trade organic and vegan ingredients sourced from the growers as near as from NewMarket and as far as Spain. The recipes were not run-of-the-mill like there was a smoothie that contained superfoods like flax seeds, chia seeds, and hemp along with blueberries and banana. We also tried a sample of "System Detox" vegetable juice which contained beets, carrots, spinach, celery, lemon, and ginger. They also have juice detox programmes available. She also does free diet consultations on Mondays and Thursdays. Give it a shot, I honestly hope you'll like it. Stay healthy, stay blessed!
