This review is tough. So I encourage you to read the entire thing and draw your own conclusions.
I asked an electrician where I could get a vintage lamp re-wired. He suggested this place. Stopped in to have a vintage lamp rewired. I explained that anything original I wanted replaced. The kid behind the counter had a hard time understanding that the lamp worked but the 60s wiring made me nervous. That should have been my first clue.
They didn't replace the socket. They called to tell me my lamp was ready but the socket will need replacing soon. What!??! I thought that's what I said when I said replace EVERYTHING original.
Stopped in to pick up my lamp and they explained the socket and offered me a discount for the confusion. So I have a very expensive new wire, with a dicey socket. And then there is the issue of the plug....
the plug is freaking HIDEOUS. I've seen prettier plugs at Home Depot. And they put a white plug on a gold wire. They don't have gold colored plugs though. Only white, black or brown. I would think you would offer plugs the same color as the wires.
They don't sell lamp shades either. The showroom floor items look nice and pricing seems good. So if you are cash & carry they might work for you.
I won't use again
