  • We eat here pretty often and really enjoy it. Great for diners that are gluten free. Service & food is five star; see my "gluten free options" section for reason for the three star review. For lunch you can do the market table (extensive salad bar w/ different meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, etc.) for $15; you can add 8-10oz of various cuts of meat for $8-9 or so the whole experience for $32. So lots of options and great for everyone. Service: Service is always great... one time a server did a mini wine tasting with three different Malbec wines for us to try before deciding on a glass. If you want a certain type of meat, don't be afraid to ask for it. Food: The "market table" salad bar has a little bit of everything for everyone... lots of meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies of all sorts. The sides that come with the meats are excellent (my favorite is the Pão de quiejo --- naturally gluten free cheesy bread made with yuca flour!!) And, of course, there are the meats -- not much to say except they're all delicious. Rare lamb chops are my FAVORITE. If you're not big on really salty foods, I would suggest letting someone else take a piece of meat before you do so you don't get the brine... I never can eat an "outside piece" because it's much too salty for my taste but most people love that part the most. Drinks: Good wine selection. Can't speak for anything else. Gluten free options: all meats, all salad bar items that are actually on the salad bar EXCEPT SALAD DRESSING... not sure about the items that are on the second small table. I do just want to comment that although most servers are knowledgeable about the gluten free options, my server today was new and not sure so asked someone else and came back to tell us that "everything except the bread is gluten free"... I just wanted to double check and nope, the dressings are NOT... I remember reading something about it online so I looked and then asked another server just to see if something had changed since the post online and she came back and said that the dressings are not GF. This is the only reason that I am giving three stars because I eat GF due to a wheat allergy, not Celiac, so I could have had a minor reaction, however for somebody with Celiacs, this could have caused them to become severely ill. I understand that some places may not educate servers on the exact ingredients of things but if your menu says to ask about gluten free options, the servers should be well informed!! Before today, this would have been a five star review.
