I recently had a horrible experience at this store! I am a regular shopper of Coach. It is one store that i don't miss when visiting a shopping mall or when i see an outlet mall with a location. The last time i was at this location was about 3 years ago. I didn't have the best experience at that time, but i figured that staff & or management maybe has changed and i'll give it a second chance. This time was no better. There were 3 female sales associates in the store. One of them was quite annoying as she was trying to talk to me and greet me - but from across the EMPTY store. i was dressed up as i had a family commitment to get to and had time to browse the mall after buying a gift at another store. Whether or not a person is dressed up should have no bearing on how they are treated in the store. This "woman" was making snippy comments and then laughing thinking that she was entertaining her co-workers, who looked horrified by her behaviour. I spent a good 10 minutes in the store looking at some of the more expensive handbags because i was looking for something specific in size & design. She kept showing me lower end items. Nobody else walked into the store the entire time i was there. She started commenting on my shopping bag and then chuckled when i mentioned that i love handbags and have several (brands) that are my favourite. She made an inappropriate comment at which point i left the store. I did call the manager and explained what happened - he was extremely apologetic and offered me an invite to a private sale, which i explained was not necessary. HOWEVER, he never followed up nor did he reach back out again after my phone call to him. I wont step back into that store ever again. FYI - i went to another location and spent over $800 that the Markville store lost out on. This store needs a serious shake up in management and some hard core customer service training. 3+ years and nothing has changed!
