I was there with 10 other of friends for a long overdo fraternity reunion and the ASU vs. UCLA football game. We stayed there 3 nights and loved the concept of the property. It was awesome to be able to hang out the pool, play cornhole, ping pong, free video games and the lobby bar. The decor of the hotel was great, several little pieces around the property were funny and trendy. Some of the rooms we were in had guitars, bean bag chairs and just awesome decorations. The vibe of the hotel was just what we were looking for. My whole group loved the hotel and will definitely come back.
But! Yes, there is a big But on this one. On the morning of 4th day at the hotel, I discovered that my room #304 was directly under the treadmill on the 4th floor. I found this out at 6:00am when my entire room started shaking and the pounding noise was unbelievable. I had only been asleep for a few hours at that point and could not get back to sleep after. I called the front desk because I had no idea what was going on. They informed me that the guy was just above my room. They kindly asked the person to stop working out I was later told. But, it seemed to be one person after another hitting the treadmill and dropping weights after another. It was absolute hell for someone who desperately just wanted some sleep before driving home for 5 hours.
I can not for the life of me understand why the gym would be on the 4th floor above a guest room. Especially one with a treadmill. This is just a huge design mistake. There is a reason almost every other gym is on the ground floor. Otherwise, the stay at the hotel was wonderful. Just some word of advice to other travelers, do not stay in room #304 or near it if you desire any sleep.
