As it turns out, I won't have the chance to let anyone know how my second visit went because shortly after posting my first review I received a call from the counter guy telling me that I got him in trouble and that they were going to contact Groupon and refund my voucher. At one point during our conversation he raised his voice and asked me 'Do you know how much that treatment SHOULD have cost you?!". as if I should be grateful for the 'service'. NOT ONE TIME during our conversation did he express any concern over MY experience, whatsoever.
Groupon has refunded my voucher, but my phone call to BBLC re: whether or not the taxes I paid in store would be refunded as well has not yet been answered.
I would give it zero stars if I could. The "Filtered Reviews' are a huge red flag. If only I'd seen them before
