I'm a sucker for pretty, neat and clean. They also happen to have numerous offerings that satisfy my sweet tooth.
I come here often, it's the Canele that is the draw for me. This small pastry is deceptive in appearance; one expects something like a muffin bready texture buts it's so far from that. The outside is slightly crispy from the caramelized sugar and the inside is a soft like custard (like bread pudding).
My kids have their favorites too. One always gets the chocolate croissant and the other always goes for the gelato. Both are also delicious!
I have had the macarons, but they are not for me. I just taste sweet butter.
The owners are always there and welcoming. I love the interspersed French dialogue while they wait on you.
It is priced slightly high.
If you can exercise self control, you can get out of there spending only a few bucks.
