| - LOOK & FEEL: 4.5/5 Very nice, attractive layout: comfortable, open, well-lit. Atmosphere is social and welcoming.
LOCATION: 5/5 At Caeser's, across from a music club and bar. HOWEVER, music from the adjacent venue often clashes with the music at Montecristo. OBVIOUSLY, the Cigar Bar must defer to the other venue: this lets people listen to good LIVE music--at no extra cost! BUT INSTEAD, Montecristo never noticed people were getting headaches and complaining about TWO conflicting sound systems. This is an example of the BAD service here (SEE BELOW)
CLIENTELE: 5/5 Very diverse group of friendly, well-educated people of all colors, stripes, and textures. Mainly Americans but international, too.
CIGAR SELECTION: 2/5 AWFUL! lol Their humidor room houses 3 outstanding cigars (yes, THREE, I'm not kidding) and a couple dozen pretty good cigars (they didn't even have the best Padron or Montecristo cigars--r u kidding???!). Perhaps it's unfair for me to criticize, since my personal humidors are stocked w 40 years of collecting) but the selection here is AMATEUR HOUR for experienced smokers. And the puros are double their online prices.
SERVICE: 5/5 OR A 0/5! Ah, this is where it gets tricky. If you get YANIRA, you will get the best: professional, amiable, responsive, and articulate: she is a 5 out of 5!; unfortunately, if you get one of the other workers, you might get some of the WORST service of all time (as other reviews will back me up): nasty, rude, unprofessional--AND they're not attractive enough to have bad attitude. The Bar must TERMINATE those awful employees.
FOOD & DRINK: 4/5 for food; 3.5/5 for Drinks You can order from several food locations at Caeser's, although prices are very steep (hamburger is $30 and a 7-Up is $7), Quality is very good. Drink menu is much better than their puros selection, ironically enough, although it's a limited--though good--list of whiskies, wines, and others.
EXTRAS: 5/5 You can order food in the afternoons. You are across from nice music venue and several terrific restaurants. No cutting fees, open until 200AM, and, of course, Yanira.
