  • So why are you seeing some people give a 5 star and others give a 1 star ratings for the same company? Simple - these guys don't do the job - they sub it out. My neighbor hired Brandenburg Pool - Cal Plaster truck pulled up. I hire Cameo and Cal Plaster pulls up. Cal Plaster has large crews and lots of them. Some days you get a good crew and other days... not so much. So your job will depend on who Cal Plaster sends out that day. Cal Plaster has horrible reviews. Very hit and miss. Our job took longer than promised but in the end, the job got done and everything looks great. These guys are no better and no worse than a lot of middle of the road average pool companies - but they promote themselves (and charge) like a top tier player. Keep looking.
