This is a 5 star experience if I've ever had one!
We received a recommendation for this and I have to say that I was a little skeptical given the location. It was well worth the drive from the strip though. It wasn't well marked in the casino, so we asked for directions. It's not far off the main entrance and it's towards the bowling alley. When you first walk up, the beautiful door is an indication of what waits inside.
The service was top notch from the time we walked in through the end of dinner. The décor is beautiful and our waiter, Vincent, explained the history of the restaurant.
The food just keeps coming and coming here! Make sure you arrive hungry!
A vegetable tray and breads were the first to arrive. We then got our appetizers of French onion soup and crab claws. I'd recommend both, but I loved the presentation of the crab and how much crab meat there was!
We both got steak for dinner and shared the au gratin potatoes. Very good, but we brought some home for leftovers as it was just all too much.
We got the amazing strawberry shortcake for dessert and were shocked when they brought chocolate covered fruit and a fruit bowl after that. Ommigosh...does the food ever stop?! So good though!
My only suggestion would be a cocktail menu. They have a full bar, but not a cocktail menu and I need some inspiration. We ordered a bottle of wine that was pretty inexpensive considering how upscale this place is.
Loved, loved, loved! Definitely an experience to be savored!
