Overall: it was a neat tourist experience but I don't think it's a MUST do when it Pittsburgh. My biggest con is that the ticket buying experience is probably the hands-down most inefficient business model I have ever seen. With all of the technological advances we've seen in the last 50 years, you would think they could figure out a way to 1) accept cash and 2) keep the lines moving in a clearly organized way.
The view was breath taking-- but I felt like the ride up was rickity. The wood on the incline looked borderline rotten. I am not afraid of heights or taking risks-- but would not be surprised to see a news headline in the future of the Incline needing major repairs.
