It's not competing for the best aquarium in the country, but it's only $20 and it's not a huge time commitment - you probably need only just over an hour to see everything at a decent pace.
My favorites were the Shark SeaTube and the rescued African Spurred Tortoise exhibit. In the shark tank area there was an employee pointing out various fish and answering questions. I also enjoyed the tanks in the Lakes of the Rivers section. I found the signage interesting and the turtles and other fish were active. There was also an octopus which was cool.
There was the typical sting ray touch area for kids and the African Spurred Tortoises were available to touch as well.
Overall the aquarium is a good spot to spend an hour. I'm happy I went, but don't see an immediate need to return let alone become a member. Other cities certainly add more value to their aquariums, but what this one offers was done well.
Parking is $3 (to $5 on the weekends) or grab a free street spot.
