Disappointment and disgust describes my experience with this office. The final straw was when the office did not follow-up on an MRI my mother received three weeks ago that I just discovered recommended a biopsy! I repeatedly had called the office for her results to no avail. I was told that Dr. Chaney does not have voicemail to leave her message. What doctor in this century does not have VM? How do other referring physicians reach her or leave confidential information regarding patient follow-up? I finally went to the diagnostic office myself to pick up my mother's records and that is how I found out a biopsy was recommended. So, a potential cancer diagnosis isn't worthy of follow-up and a phone call? Or a return phone call from the patient? This is on the verge of malpractice. The sad part is, I have multiple physician friends around the country and my husband works within the healthcare industry. None of them can believe the lack of accountability of this office. Yes, Dr. Chaney is a nice person. Yes, she does take time when you are in the office (for a paid visit) with the patient. However, there is no follow-up, even when she is the one ordering tests for the patient!! An office that she referred us to could not see my mother until they received the notes from Dr. Chaney's office. More than a month later and multiple calls to her office, the notes still have not been sent to the referred physician! Due to the neglectful follow-up of this office, I would not recommend going here until they rectify this situation. It is one thing to have good bedside manner, but it is another thing when patient follow-up is neglected and ignored. Especially when potential serious issues arise.
