| - Let me start by saying.. I drove past this place twice. I even pulled into the complex and then decided to leave because I didn't think it would be my kind of place, but let me get started on this review.
First off, The Edge @ NoDa is a hidden gem. I walked into the leasing office and was greeted by a lady named Danielle who has to be the most genuine and sweetest leasing consultant I've ever come across. I talked to her, letting her know what I was looking for and we toured a one bedroom apartment. I was VERY impressed with the size of the apartment. They just renovated the apartment as well with appliances, new countertops, carpet, and paint.
Seeing that a good population of the complex was young, I was thrilled to do an application. By the way, I've NEVER looked and leased before. I filled everything out and in about three days, I was confirmed for an apartment to move into in July! I went back into the office to sign the lease and I wanted to look at the apartment one more time just to make sure I was getting everything as promised and Danielle was more than welcoming. She also does not pressure you in any way, shape, or form. She even offered me her dining room table because I'm starting from scratch with furniture! She encouraged that I made sure this is what I wanted. So I signed my life away and I am beyond excited to call The Edge @ NoDa home! Also.. They are EXTREMELY pet friendly! $200 pet fee and no pet rent? You just don't find that in Charlotte. And the fact that you go on a month to month lease after 12 months with the SAME RATE?!? One, I plan on getting a black lab. And two, I'll be here for a while.
I would definitely recommend this complex for any young professional who is looking to thrive in the NoDa area and who would want to be in an area that is growing very quickly. I work uptown and it only takes me 7 minutes to get to work. In traffic, about 10.
Seriously. Check this place out. This area is only going to grow and you better get in here while you can. Cavalier Management is seriously a company that is for their residents and is not a money gobbling mega-management company.
