* Price: lunch $31 from 11-3 pm. Not too bad considering amount of food available and location. 4 star.
* Atmosphere/ambiance: huge place. Not much of decor. Very old school but clean. 3 star.
* Location: easy to find... Just follow the sign in middle of the casino. 4 star.
* Meals: good quality and variety but very generic. The desert section is the best! However, maybe it is lunch menu, there is no excitement here. There is a lot of comfort food. 3 + star.
* Service: just OK. Our server was friendly but disappeared once we gave him tips! 3 star.
Averaged to 3 1/2 star.
I have seen the Bellagio buffet on Food network and Travel channel and always want to try it out but most of time there is a long line. This time, there was a short line for lunch. We also got pulled out of the line since they had available table for 2... We were literally in line less than 5 minutes.
The food is quality. There are salad station, breakfast station with pastries, bagels, salmon, cheese, etc. Carving station has quality steak, sausages, roasted pigs, etc. The Italian food is gereneric with pasta, spaghetti, pizza. The Chinese food station is very small with fried rice, Singapore yellow curry vermicelli, stir fried vegetables, dumplings, etc. The sushi station is also limited with a few rolls, hand rolls, etc. The desert station is the best with so many yummy deserts! The seafood station is also generic with stone crabs, shrimps, etc.
I was a bit disappointed since there was no fois gras, duck, or some excitement and creative dishes. Has been to other buffets in Las Vegas, this one is just a OK! It is worth the money but not worth a wait if you have to wait more than 30 minutes!
