  • Sadly, we only found Espace Cafe on the last day of our vacation in Montreal. Had we found it earlier, we would have been regulars. The owner is a gregarious sort who knows his clientele and seems happy to see everyone who comes through his door. This was refreshing in our recent cafe experiences where the presence of customers seems to be an imposition to staff. The owner took the time to help us with his menu of offerings, offering advice and recommendations. On top of that, the coffee drinks and pastry we picked up were very good. We had a very nice experience overall and we'll be back next time we're in Montreal. Try the pastry.
