We were looking for a home in the Aspen area and came across a New Truman home we liked from the MLS listing. The Listing stated a Stainless steel appliance package was included. When we viewed the home with our realtor, we noticed that there were no appliances in the home. We were told that Truman homes would not include any appliances. We ask also about window coverings, and were told none would be provided. Even thou the listing indicated otherwise. We also noticed a few other items that needed to be addressed. We were told through our realtor that nothing else would be done to the house. We made an appropriate offer considering the items missing from what we assumed would be included with a new home. The representative from Truman Homes ask "if we were idiots" and responded that they would give us $1.00 off to accommodate for the missing appliance package and other items. Insulting potential buyers is a business practice I really do not understand. I would never buy a home from them in the future, nor would we ever buy a used home that we found out was built by Truman Homes.
