  • We have an Akita / Cattle Dog mix who gets brushed daily but you'll still come away with a handful of hair if you pet her and the house needs constant swiffering due to feathers of fur flying around. I brought her and our Pit / Lab mix in to Miss Daisy's for nail clipping and decided to get the 80 lb Akita mix groomed as well. She had been groomed before but WOW! Dora and company did such a great job! Our girl is a tri-color and she came away with her colors so vibrant and her normally bear-like coat so soft. When we pet her there are no flying fistfuls of hair and no furry tumbleweeds, even three days later. I'm sure she feels much cooler too. The rates were very reasonable, I couldn't be happier. We'll visit Miss Daisy's again for certain.
