  • I've had a few good experiences with this vet. They were able to see one of my dogs the same morning she got stung my a scorpion. They also saw another one of my dogs the same day when she was having an allergic reaction. However, I recently had a bad experience with this vet. My puppy is 5 months old and needs to be spayed before she goes into heat. I took her to the vet a week ago when she was having an allergic reaction. There was an emergency going on with another dog when I arrived. As such, the vet wasn't able to spend much time with my dog. And I didn't get a chance to bring up her getting spayed because he was in and out of the room. I mentioned to one of the techs that she was 5 months and that she should be spayed soon. And all she said was "yeah". The vet should have brought it up considering the puppy's age. A human Doctor brings up certain milestone exams/procedures that need to be done when it comes time for them. So should a vet. The vet also should have asked if I needed anything else before he left the room. I waived this off at first because there was a emergency going on with another dog. However, I called a week later to schedule an appointment for my dog to be spayed. The girl that answered the phone said I would need to bring my dog in for another exam ($60) and then I could schedule an appointment for the spay. I had just been in to see the vet with that dog and would have insisted we discuss her getting spayed had I known they were going to charge me another exam fee a week later. They also wanted me to bring my dog in for two visits. I work full-time and this vet is not close to my house. This is a huge inconvenience. They could have examined the dog the morning I brought her in to be spayed. (Which is what my new vet is going to do) The final thing that really threw me over the edge was that the girl on the phone said she would call me back with the total price of the exam and spay. (The computers were down) and she was going to talk to the vet to see if they had to do another exam. She NEVER called me back. I ended up finding a new vet because of this visit. Which is sad. I had a good experience with this vet before but poor customer service made me find a new one.
