Please read before taking your car into service for any issues:
The downfall of this dealership is the service department. I have had nothing but issues with them. If you think this service department is "mod friendly" think again. I had issues with my transmission in all 3 of my vehicles I have owned. Two being DSG and one being manual (my current car). I have accommodated everything Russell (service manager) has asked me to do to figure a couple issues out and he has been playing nothing but games with me. My vehicle is lightly modded to a touch (exhaust, springs, and intake). Nothing to do with my transmission or to void any kind of warranty with my transmission. I brought my vehicle to them several occasions and had nothing but blank excuses of what is causing my transmission to malfunction. I asked them to prove what is causing the issue and Russell took me back to the shop to show me nothing. He promised me that next week when I bring it in again he will take a look at it himself. I brought it in and it was pushed off to his assistant manager Ryan. I drove with Ryan and we duplicated the issue twice. Came back and they did nothing about it and told me they can't do anything unless a tech drives it and duplicates it. Big waste of my time, my gas, and my money. Then he tells me, "we don't get paid by VW to take apart my transmission to figure out what's wrong." Excuse after excuse and playing games with me. I have done nothing but accommodate them so he tells me to bring it in Thursday (9/10/15) after making an appointment to have it looked at by a VW corporate rep in which I did not have that day off so I requested it off when they told me that is the only day he will be there and what do you know..I get a call Tuesday telling me they have to change it to Wednesday now. I recommend doing your research and looking at other service departments to go to. This has been nothing but a distasteful and frustrating experience and will never bring my business there any longer.
