| - If you are a fan of the AYCE and westernized style sushi, you will really like this place.
1. Service - 5 Stars - This place rocks with service. This is a key at the AYCE places as I think that they will automatically "pace" you with the limited staff and service. However, here, we had numerous people helping, providing us food, taking orders for additions and even the manager or owner (didn't get his name) came out to help. Very, very nice.
2. Ambiance - 5 Stars - I was kinda irritated as to why my pals were asking to meet way out here in the middle of where, and it was not a disappointment at all. The table set up is great, nice waiting area, very comfortable flow. I felt very, very relaxed here and not rushed at all.....
3. Food Quality - We ordered some real sushi like Amai Ebi with the fried shrimp heads and they were tasty. The Uni or sea Urchin was very flavorful and the texture was spot on. Then, we had a bunch of westernized sushi that my pals ordered and while I cannot tell you what was in them and the conglomeration of sauces that hid the fish taste, I can tell you that as a food group, this stuff was pretty darn good. I wouldn't call it sushi, I would call it "chop suey sushi". I give the food quality 4 stars.
4. Pricing - For AYCE, the price is not bad 21 / 26 per person depending on lunch or dinner. Many of my favorites don't qualify for AYCE, so I will be going back to clarify this as I did not pay this bill, and so I am not 100% positive. However, in reading the bill, the more traditional and higher quality stuff was not included. I will check this as I may be wrong. For now, I give this 4 star.
GK says, check it out!
