  • Thankfully the food and the server saved the day. The initial encounter with the hostess was horrible. She had zero personality and no interest in us as customers. We were seated in terrible seats when the restaurant was empty (it was 6 PM). We were able to change seats to get a better view with a better table. Once we were finally situated we ordered our food from a very staid boring waiter. So far not impressed. Soon we noticed time marching on and no sight of our food. Suddenly we had a new waiter and a free appetizer a fantastic gnocchi with pumpkin. The new waiter was attentive, fun and very informative. The food finally came and it was FANTASTIC!!! I had the slow roasted pork loin and belly with grits. My wife had the baramundi with an olive tapenade. Both great dishes, with a wonderful side of asparagus and the best mac and cheese I have ever tasted. The new server was like a relief pitcher in baseball. The restaurant noticed we were not happy and fixed the problem. This attention to our personal experience with fantastic food saved the day. Hope to go back!
