With a business name like O-Face I wanted to think of a clever line to start this review with. But to tell the truth it was either bad or explicit so let's cut to the chase.
Located alongside Carson kitchen and the tattoo shop that escapes my memory on 6th and Carson. OFD which I'll use for this review is in the newly renovated baby blue and white building. The signage is small so just take a walk past and look in the glass windows, you'll see it.
My first impression of the decor seems a little like the Simpsons, don't ask why, I think it's colour scheme that's has that cartoony vibe.
I was a little hungry so I grab some of the savory donuts which were pretty good. The one filled with salmon would be a good recommendation.
A lot of the donuts are quite nice, but to tell the truth. Most are what you can find at pink box or AL's Doughnut shop. The actual donut is a little chewer or softer than the other place though.
I grabbed a Mocha as well, and I hate to say it, I wasn't impressed. It had a very bland or chemical taste to it and I ended up throwing it away. Tasted more like Starbucks pre made mocha heated up.
Your able also to cater OFD, which maybe great if your downtown for an event. Check there Facebook page for more details.
The donuts seemed good, a little run of the mill in terms of boutique donut businesses. The savory bites were something I would come back for.
