  • Typical NY DR salon. I have 4c hair and I got a wash, D.C., blow out, flat iron, trim for $70. My hair was LAID. I loved my hair when I was done but I realized I can't go on the regular 'cause they straight up ripped through my hair with a small tooth comb. This is probably a great place to go if you're relaxed and if I do relax I'll probably go back but if you're natural be aware they are NOT gentle with your hair. AT ALL. The wash lady washed the hell out of my hair and it felt great, the problem is that on 4c hair that creates massive tangles which your stylist will straight up rip apart..... yep. I'm telling you. They WILL RIP through your hair with a fine tooth comb. I originally asked for a roller set (having a flashback to when I was relaxed in high school) but they were like "we can't get the rollers into your hair" so I was like cool, just blow it out. She did tell me to make my hair more "tame" I should get a keratin treatment, which honestly I am entertaining. She blew out my hair and I was happy with the end result, I mean really happy with it. BUT. I KNOW how we naturals are and I'm WARNING you, they will not treat your hair like you want it to be treated.
