I really wanted to love this shop- I had been following them on Instagram for awhile before checking it out. The store is adorable- filled with fun knick knacks and gifts. I could totally find some art to put on my walls here. As a plus-size person, I wish they offered more sizes of clothing. I found the prices really affordable, especially for a indie store. It is the kind of place that I would love to check out again to see how the merchandise changes. AND I would happily put money into the local community!
The aesthetic of the store is sort of a funky/millennial/hipster vibe. I'm not mad at it. I loved some of the quirky details like the photo booth and the retro "find a date" machine in the back. Everything is clean lines, bright, and airy- basically you should come here if you're planning on instagramming like your life depends on it.
However, I could never really get over the directives not to steal all over the store (and I see that I am not the only one from other reviews). I personally was not followed around the store but the signs up about being "friends with the police" freaked me out. In my community, the police shot an innocent man dead at a traffic stop-I just don't find jokes about the police funny.
