| - I have been to many coffee shops. I used to be a barista for Lollicup in Pasadena and loved making smoothies and became fascinated with the world of non-alcoholic drinking. It is amazing what concoctions non-alcoholic beverages can become. The drinks here were amazing!
Colorado River Coffee Roasters coffee is used in these delectible liquid treats. My fiancé ordered a Chocolate Cappucino, his mom ordered a cappucino, and I ordered a candy cane hot chocolate.
We had four different macarons, pistachio, coffee, almond, and black currant.
Cappucino: beautiful turkey drawn in on top, great smooth flavor, great amount of foam without being overwhelmed. Perfect temp.
Chocolate Cappucino: beautiful heart flower drawn in on top, great smooth flavor, hint of chocolate, great amount of foam without being overwhelmed; basicallly just as great as the cappucino but with that hint of cacao. Perfect temp.
Candy Cane Hot Chocolate: three feathers drawn in on top, Ghirardelli syrup, peppermint and foam that held in the peppermint flavor made the cup lickable - delish. Perfect temp.
I am a diehard hot chocolate fan, and this was one of the best hot chocolates I have had in my life.
Macarons:
Pistachio: didn't taste much like pistachio but it was still good
Almond: Yumscious, but very sweet
Coffee: didn't get to try it but my soon-to-be mom-in-law scarfed it down, so that's a good sign
Black Currant: Never again, no go for me as it was not too fresh, but it's perhaps ignorant of me to order a less common flavor. I love black currant, but not everybody does.
Another plus that I didn't get to enjoy: As we were leaving, we saw two musicians, a vocalist and electric guitarist setting up, so they have live performances there once in a while. I saw many people on their laptops comfortably lounging, so it's a good wifi spot. Their password is "cianorte."
