I have been here several times now and it is consistently great each and every time. The cost at $38 for dinner is comparable to similar buffets but what makes this unique is that they offer cuisine and dishes not found at typical Las Vegas buffets. Each dish or selection is served in small dishes/spoons.
If you are adventurous and like to depart from pasta and prime rib buffets venture over to the cosmopolitan hotel and be prepared to wait.
The dishes? Bone Marrow, frog legs and fatty pork belly to name a few.
I found the bone marrow to be rich and delicious. The frog legs were overly salty. Fatty pork belly was also great. The poke was good as was some of the sushi selections however the Chinese dishes were just so so. Crab legs were bland as was the prime rib which could have used more pepper. The desert options are plentiful and overall there are menu options for just about any palate. Wicked spoon is a departure from traditional buffets and worth the wait.
