We came in last night 05-31-2016 around 8:30p.m. oh cool we already have reservations for the Junior Cabana Suite what a great time this will be! WRONG! WRONG! I'm the only one checking in with my Wife and two kids ages 2 1/2 and 6 months. No one ahead of us and no one behind us. I approach the counter and wait and wait to finally be approached by the "Front Desk Supervisor" oh boy that really sets the tone this guy with his important name badge is going to take care of me! Wrong again. He says, "Last Name?" I tell him. He says, "hold on" so i wait for 10 minutes while he is talking to this other co worker behind the desk in a quiet condescending tone. He then says, ok 40 dollars for deposit and 10.02 for resort fee. At this point im a little irritated so we exchange some words, but then he did the unthinkable in front of my Wife and kids. He had the audacity to say, "F*** you you moron! Followed by BIT** THEN THREATEN ME with violence both verbal and physical. This is just poor poor absolute horrible customer service. I will NEVER be back to this hotel and ill tell family and friends as well about this experience. Im appauled and outraged at rhe lack of poor customer service I received here. I guess Thats how they treat people who book reservations through a 3rd party nowadays. Shame on you El Cortez and you casino manager for not knowing the Hotel Managers name and taking proper steps to fix a situation. This place needs an Extreme Makeover: Employee Edition. When i asked for the Hotel Manager I get, "oh hes gone for the day."
How convenient. Ill also be writing to corporate. This is just absurb. To be threatened with violence, cursed at in front of my Wife and kids and escorted out by security was absolutely unacceptable.
Management cant fix this.
