rev:text	I'm struggling to write this review as we've always had a good experience staying at the Westin Hotel. We decided to do a staycation during the Presidents' Day weekend. We checked in on Thursday afternoon and was to stay till Saturday. Pros of our stay: 1. View of the lake from our room - we had a beautiful view of the lake, the bridge, and the dock. 2. Fridge in our room - when you have a kid with you, a fridge is always a plus. 3. Bed was clean and comfortable, overall room was clean 4. Staff at Rick's Cafe, Marssa, and Marrakesh were amazing! They made sure my family and I were taken care of Cons of our stay (MAJOR CON!) 1. Fire alarm went off at 4 am telling us to evacuate. We went outside (in the cold) and we had no clue what exactly was going. Decided to go to the lobby to find out and about 15 minutes later the manager quickly tells us that it was a false alarm. What made me frustrated was that there was only one lobby staff and she was on the phone the whole time. No reassurance from her or anyone till the manager came out. 2. Fire alarm goes off a second time at 9 am, a few hours after the first one. Same thing, had to evacuate. SAME THING, NO ONE KNEW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. At that point, I was done. I went and cancelled our stay. So inconvenient. What made me even more frustrated was that there wasn't any apology or any compensation. The manager didn't even bother to say sorry. There were many families with babies and kids confused about the situation and all we were told was "it's a false alarm". Having worked for a hotel for 3 years and working for the government now, this could have been handled differently.
