| - Benjamin! OMG! This individual is far from kind, or nice! More like a customer service Zombie. We booked through LSI, not a good idea, as they close at 8-9pm and reopen at 8am! How does concierge act. Like you are not actually staying there. At over $150 per night after fees, not having the very basics in your residence inspired hotel room was weird. We called down at 6-7pm for 3 wine, champagne, glasses, mugs, forks, spoons, knifes, plates, bowls, napkins. We received 3 mis-matched forks, a spoon, 2 wine glasses, and 2 mugs. I called again and was told that they would have them up shortly, at 9pm we called again and were told they were closed.
I went down stairs a little ticked, Benjamin asked how he could help, I said f--- this hotel, I'm tired of waiting for basics. Two nights later I went to valet to find our tire flat. Valet said I got a screw. A brand new shinny screw which can be found downstairs in their valet parking area, I showed the valet manager 3 other identical screws in the parking structure and busted out laughing when he said it was not their fault!
Maybe time to get a sweeper down their and get the area clean, I am not the first to make a review because my 5000mile Honda tire was flat. I get it stuff happens, it does, I was angry that I was being dismissed. I would have liked the valet manager to say, let's get your aaa out here, or anything other than WE DIDNT DO IT.
When I called a manager BENJAMIN showed up again, this time he said I was making a scene and he would cancel my stay. I said thank you very much and went up stairs gathered my things and my guests and had the aaa come out and change my tire so I could drive over to the trump. We spent over $22 more per night and were treated kindly, and had a good respectful stay :-)
Booked the Excalibur after a week at the trump to see the tournament of kings, there were 30 other viewers and they throw out all the uneaten food, which I didn't care about. One of my guests was very disappointed that so much food was just thrown out nightly, very sad. I was dismissive of her feelings at the time, but it is sad that so much food is tossed :-(...
