Booked our weekend stay here at Westgate because we got a great deal for the weekend. Let me just say, you get what you pay for. The room was okay, it does offer a nice large TV and comfy beds (the norm). However, you don't have any coffee makers, or microwaves in the rooms. I love to have these features when traveling with my kids. Makes things easier.
The major issue with the resort is the harassment like feeling you get from the moment you get checked in. At almost every section you have to walk just to get to your room, you will get stopped and asked to get free gifts to watch the presentation they offer. This never ends the entire time of your stay. You are like fresh meat when you first arrive. When asked if there something we could do to have it stopped, services had no solutions. Before we could get to our room, drop our luggage off and get the kids settled, we had been bombarded by about twelve staff members.
They do have a casino and restaurants in site. Beware, 24 Las Vegas is not. You cannot get room service 24hr. You can get it from 6am to 10pm. With one small snack bar style restaurant remaining open in a 24 period.
My family will not ever return here only due to the intense stress they cause as a new arriving guest. This left me with a horrible first impression of the establishment, and something I would be interested in ever reliving on a vacation.
