  • This place is pretty great. The views are amazing and I love the different array of people who enjoy time here. From families to party people, everyone is just having a good time. There are bands on the weekend and sand volleyball courts to get your drunk game on. If Whiskey Island wasn't so far away from where I live, I'd be here pretty often. Two very tiny complaints, and one is so very fixable it's ridiculous. One: The drinks are a little expensive for my taste. Almost $7 for a big can of twisted tea? C'mon...I know it has alcohol in it, but I can get that sized can of something for 99 cents at a gas station up the road. That being said, I and everyone else will still purchase these regardless. Two: The trash. Oh my goodness there is trash everywhere. I don't understand why people walk around and just throw their crap all over the place. There are plenty of trash cans people! It just bums me out to walk along the beach and have to watch where I step while picking up stuff best I can. If people won't throw their trash away, maybe have someone who works there walk around every once in awhile.
