I recently took my dad here for lunch. It was a busy day in this tiny restaurant. Almost all of the tables were full. But there were a couple open... I called to see if there was space, they insisted we sit at the bar.
The food was okay... I had a Mexican roommate in the past who was a excellent cook. We had the ceviche- needed lots of salt, lime juice and more curing time. We also had some sort of stuffed pepper it was decent, I might get it again if I went. We also had the beef dish. It was tender but not very exciting. That being said, my dad liked it the most out of all of the dishes we had.
The Service.... yikes!!! Since we were at the bar/ work station we could talk directly to the staff for most of our visit, which I believe was there saving grace... because it took a while for things to come & they seemed frazzled.
Would I come back?! Maybe if I wasn't paying!
PS they kept on repeating that this was an authentic Mexican restaurant... Just because you repeat something doesn't make it true.
