  • I was visiting Montreal and stumbled upon the yelp deal for here, $5 off is a good deal, so my boyfriend and I left our hotel and went looking. Luckily I had read other reviews and knew to look for the "N" and with eyes peeled we found it and descended the stairs. The subterranean bars in Montreal are great (Philly doesn't do it) but this place had such a speak easy vibe that it felt extra satisfying to go into the ground in search of a cocktail. Our bartender was sweet, helpful, and very skilled because our 2 cocktails disappeared very easily. We both got the special which was a spin on a whiskey sour and I can't stress enough what a wonderful and under utilized ingredient egg white it. Anyway, if you are in Montreal definitely stop in for a perfectly constructed cocktail.
