| - We hosted our extended cocktail reception here after our wedding ceremony and *almost* everything about my experience here was on point.
PROS:
+ Due to the size of our group, the left bank (it can hold approximately 80 seated and 100 standing) was reserved for us. We had 70 people and a mix of sit down and standing cocktail tables which was a great layout for us since there was enough room to move
+ We had a great view of the Bellagio fountains, the strip, and the bonus fireworks from Caesars across the street!
+ We had a carving station and it was DELISH! There was even a line for it and everybody raved about it afterward
+ All of the servers were very accommodating and they always made sure we had drinks and/or food in our hands
+ All of the hors d'oeuvres that I selected were delicious and everybody enjoyed them
+ The price point is fair for an on-strip restaurant (a few other restaurants that I looked at were $$$$$$$)
+ Outside photography is allowed
+ Children are allowed here (a few places on the strip were 21+ only)
+ I was able to pre-select wine and champagne prior to the event
+ We were able to charge alcohol on consumption vs. open bar, since open bar would have counted for everybody (even those who don't drink)
+ I received prompt responses from the general manager, Scott Clark, and the director of events, Chloe Linder whenever I had an inquiry
+ An employee was able to hook up an HDMI cable to a laptop for my maid of honor's speech
CONS:
- When we signed our contract, we were provided with event pricing for 2015 and had to pay the 2016 pricing which increased, but we weren't aware of new pricing until I asked for an updated menu 30 days prior to our event
- We ran a little over our allotted 3 hour time slot and the server said "You have this room booked until 9:30pm and it's over that time now" which led me to asking to close out -- I feel like we should've received a 15 minute warning prior to 9:30pm because we were having so much fun and didn't realize the time
- We were told that microphones weren't allowed for our best man/maid of honor speeches prior to the event due to the open space (so it wouldn't bother other diners), but during the event, one of the employees went to look for a microphone because she said it would be okay
Overall, I had a great experience hosting our cocktail reception here and would recommend the Eiffel Tower as a great restaurant on the strip for any special occasion!
