| - We came for a little dessert after eating lunch after hearing some nice things about the place. The decor is cute, with a chalkboard in the back and completed puzzled covering the side walls. After my friends tried several of the flavors (and made our server Ashton extremely irritated) I decided to go with the Hokkaido milk tea flavor.
The consistency of the ice cream is very thick, and is less like a frozen liquid and more like a soft putty. It was different, but very rich and still just as creamy and sweet as any other ice cream. If you like your ice cream to be kind of thin and light like soft serve, you may feel this is a bit too heavy for you. For the price (which is slightly cheaper than coldstone) I would say this ice cream is well worth it, especially if you get multiple scoops or flavors.
The Hokkaido milk tea flavor tasted exactly like the real thing, withthe perfect amount of sweetness not to overpower the tea flavor (I can't say the same for the Thai tea flavor, it was a bit too sweet to actually taste the tea), and for the Kingdom Hearts fans the Sea Salt ice cream flavor did not disappoint; it tasted almost like sweet cream, but definitely much better and less plain.
As for the service, the atmosphere seemed to be very friendly but perhaps a little unprofessional at times. I felt a little squicked at times as it felt like the server was talking too comfortably to me, and even at one point sat down and talked to us while we ate. It wasn't creepy, but definitely unexpected and maybe a bit too personal for my tastes. His coworker (I presume? Maybe manager) was very polite however, so I wouldn't say that my experience is the case all the time here.
TL;DR: This place is great if you like cute (and delicious!) ice cream flavors and desserts, but can definitely be a hit and miss with service.
